Becoming a Police UK Disability Sport Sponsor means that your organisation will be having a direct impact on the physical and mental health and well-being of all of the officers, staff, volunteers and their friends and families that we are supporting through the power of sports recovery.

Through building partnerships and sharing social media content on their pages, PUKDS reaches over 100,000 people on every single post through tagging in partner pages and sharing to supporting groups.

What does your sponsorship pay for?

PUKDS has attracted members from all over the UK, as such it is costly for each member to attend events that can often be hundreds of miles from where they live. For this reason it is the aim to be able to provide travel and accommodation expenses so that members who are playing at these events can afford to do so in these times of a national cost of living crisis. Many see sport as a luxury, but for many of these members, these sports are the only exercise they take part in, because the power of sports recovery through team sports has such a positive effect on not just the physical condition but also a persons mental health and well-being.

Your sponsorship also helps us to secure sporting venues which are accessible for disabled people and are suitable for all types of adaptive sports. After travel expenses, venue hire is the second largest financial contributor to sporting events.

Your sponsorship can also help towards the costs of adaptive sports equipment which is often much more expensive than regular sports equipment and without it, we simply cannot provide the sports.

Event and Team Sponsorships

Sponsoring an event provides an opportunity for clubs and competitors to take part in disability sport where they might not be able to otherwise. Events vary in set-up and running costs depending on what the event is, the duration and how many sports and clubs are involved.

There are multiple opportunities to sponsor individual events in the Police Disability Sport calendar. From individual exhibition matches to full scale tournaments and multi-sports events and even the National Police Leagues for each team sport.

A Single Team Sport Community Tournament 

This sponsorship is for a single team tournament, where our police team will compete against community clubs. The cost of sponsorship allows PUKDS to pay for costs associated with the venue, catering, team coaches, officials and referees, and transportation of team equipment. It also helps us to cover some travel expenses for players that are struggling with the cost of living and would otherwise not be able to participate in these events.

Cost of package £1,500

Multi-Sport Open Day 

This sponsorship is for a 1 day multi-sport open day which is FREE to attend for all members of the police community, wider emergency services, blue light and armed forces communities. These events provide a variety of team sports and other activities where participants and their family and friends can take part in as many activities and sports sessions as they want to.

Multi-sport open days are aimed at bringing communities together through adaptive sport, and your sponsorship can often be the only way that we can reach some areas of the country.

Cost of package £500 when hosted at a police venue or £500 + venue costs for any venue of your choosing

Weekend Event - Multi-Sport Open Day and Community Tournament

This package provides you with the sponsorship for a full weekend of adaptive and fully inclusive sports. Starting with a Multi-Sport Open Day on the Saturday and followed by a team community tournament on the Sunday.

The additional costs associated with a full weekend event cover accommodation for tournament players and coaching staff so that they can attend both days without returning home on the Saturday evening.

National League Team Sponsorship

PUKDS compete in the national leagues in various sports, and your sponsorship can help us to cover the costs of entering the leagues, and attend events all over the country. Team sponsorship can be in full or part sponsorship with other organisations.

Full cost of sponsorship package £10,000 per season

Part sponsorship packages start from just £1,000 per organisation per season

1 Year Regional Events Programme

This package provides you with the sponsorship rights for an entire year of events within your chosen region, and will consist of a minimum of 6 Multi-Sport Open Days and Community Tournament weekends, which can either be split over the year, or run as full weekend events.
