Becoming a Police UK Disability Sport Sponsor means that your organisation will be having a direct impact on the physical and mental health and well-being of all of the officers and staff that we are supporting through the power of sports recovery.

Through building partnerships and sharing social media content on their pages, PUKDS reaches over 100,000 people on every single post.

What does your sponsorship pay for?

PUKDS has attracts members from all over the UK, as such it is costly for each member to attend events that can often be hundreds of miles from where they live. For this reason it is the aim to be able to provide travel expenses so that members who are playing at these events can afford to do so in these times of a national cost of living crisis. Many see sport as a luxury, but for many of these members, these sports are the only exercise they take part in, because the power of sports recovery through team sports has such a positive effect on not just the physical condition but also a persons mental health and well-being.

Your sponsorship also helps us to secure sporting venues which are accessible for disabled people and are suitable for all types of adaptive sports. After travel expenses, venue hire is the second largest financial contributor to sporting events.

Event Sponsorship

Sponsoring an event provides an opportunity for clubs and competitors to take part in disability sport where they might not be able to otherwise.

Events vary in set-up and running costs depending on what the event is, the duration and how many sports and clubs are involved.

There are multiple opportunities to sponsor individual events in the Police Disability Sport calendar. From individual exhibition matches to full scale tournaments and multi-sports events and even the National Police Leagues for each team sport.

Here is the list of events sponsorship packages.

Single Event - This sponsorship is for a single sporting event, match or community tournament, which can be acquired for any of our sports. The cost of sponsorship allows PUKDS to pay for a venue, any additional equipment or advertising material associated with the sponsor. It also helps us to cover some travel expenses for players that are struggling with the cost of living or that are on disability benefits after being medically retired and unable to work.

Cost of package £1,000

Promotional Sporting Event - PUKDS often host promotional sporting events, which are mainly aimed at announcing our entry in to a particular sport. The sponsorship for these events will be advertised individually and will be based on the requirements to host the event in relation to venue costs, transportation, any equipment and travel expenses, prizes and marketing material specific to the event.

Single Events Pack (5) - This package provides you with the sponsorship rights for the next 5 single match events in the calendar. These could be in a variety of different sports.

Cost of package £4,500

Single Events Pack (10) - This package provides you with the sponsorship rights for the next 10 single match events in the calendar. These could be in a variety of different sports.

Cost of package £9,000

4 Team Sport Tournament - This package provides you with the sponsorship rights for a team sports tournament, where PUKDS will host the event with national league community teams.

Cost of package £1,500

Multi-Sport Event - This package provides you with the sponsorship rights for the annual multi-sport event, which invites officers and staff, past and present from all over the UK to come along and try out the different sports. This event will also be a chance for all of the police charities and organisations to exhibit their products and services. The event is FREE to attend and aims to attract upward of 500 people over the weekend.

Cost of package £15,000

National PUKDS Leagues - This package provides you with the sponsorship rights for three seasons of the sport of your choice, with the option to extend your sponsorship of the league at a reduced rate. Each of the National Leagues has multiple meetings each year where all of the teams compete in a round robin schedule which at the end of the season the table standing are determined by a points system. The cost of the sponsorship is to cover the costs of the adaptive sports equipment, travel expenses of all those taking part and venue hire with all of the promotions and advertising involved in promoting the league events.

Cost of package £75,000 for the first 3 seasons, each additional season is at the cost of £20,000

We are also able to offer your organisation a part sponsorship for any of the above mentioned packages, this could allow for multiple organisations to support, sponsor and promote the events gaining wider awareness.
