Exhibition Matches
Police UK Disability Sport will continue to compete in Exhibition matches in all of our core sports against National League clubs all over the UK. This helps to raise awareness of adaptive/disability sports in the police community in all of the regions where the events are taking place.
It helps to promote our campaign to launch disability sports on a sustainable platform, to deliver or regional teams, Home Nations and Team UK formats so that we can provide a regular sports recovery programe with the assistance of our partners and community clubs.
The format for an exhibition match is;
The Community club is to host the event at either their training/match venue or one nearby that has seating for spectators.
The cost of the venue hire to be split evenly by the hosting club and PUKDS.
We will require;
A three hour slot on either a Saturday or Sunday.
Starting no earlier than 11 am and finishing no later than 6 pm.
Onsite parking or parking availability nearby.
The event will run to a fluid plan;
Teams will have the first 1 hour to train before supporters arrive at the venue.
Any team promotional events/photographs will take place before the match.
Post match, there will be more time for promotional events and an awards ceremony.
PUKDS presentations for grants/equipment will be made after the match.
Once we have received your request we will contact you to discuss the details.
