Police UK Wheelchair Rugby Club hosted it's second community based tournament.
This time supported by donations from Surrey Police Federation and Serve and Protect, the event took place at Guildford County School, Surrey.
Teams from Saracens, Harlequins and Buccaneers faced off in the group stages, with Police UK topping the group, after an incredibly close match against Saracens where only half a second was between the win and a draw.
It was Police UK and Saracens in the final, and with some tactical changes, it was Police UK that lifted the trophy and our very own Eyan Naylor being voted player of the tournament by the club coaches.

PUKDS joins Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) as an Official Club Member. This has been the result of nine months work, with a series of exhibition matches and tournaments working with nationally recognised clubs.
We have proven that we can provide a sustainable platform for wheelchair rugby in the police community, host safe events and uphold the values and standards expected of a club.
We will be looking forward to 2025, when our team will start participating in development days, tournaments and friendly matches in preparation for entering the national league in 2026.

PUKDS turns 1 year old...
This past twelve months has seen multiple sporting events, force engagements, the introduction of various sponsors, partners and affiliations with sports clubs, national governing bodies, police forces, federations, associations and charities.
Gaining the support of over a dozen members of parliament, PUKDS has launched a national campaign to re-write the book on how police charities will be funded in the future. Through an allocation of funds from the Proceeds of Crime (POCA).
With a new year, we bring an updated brand, removing the wheelchair emblem and replacing it with the map of the UK. This emphasises the message of adaptive, accessible and fully inclusive sports for the UK's police community.
