On Thursday 27th June 2024, Founder Gary Callier attended the HQ for Surrey Police in Guildford by invitation of the Surrey Police Federation  for their quarterly Well-being event.

The aim of this visit was to engage with officers and staff in Surrey Police working at HQ to highlight adaptive sport in the police and speak with senior leaders to help promote the campaign.

We spoke to a number of individuals about the sports, how to get involved and the events coming up where they have the opportunity to take part.

The force lead for mental-health and well-being also paid us a visit and is keen to help promote our activities with the aim of supporting sports recovery for the health and well-being of Surrey officers and staff. We are now planning a series of events in the region, including a multi-sport and a wheelchair rugby tournament, which are all free to attend.
