PUKDS is a self-funded not-for-profit registered community interest company, as such we rely on the kind donations of the public and funds raised through sales of merchandise and sponsorship opportunities. Every donation is greatly appreciated.

Who can become a Member?


PUKDS aims to be fully inclusive, for all those serving or having served in any policing capacity throughout their lifetime, with full inclusivity for physical, mental health and neurodiversity.


Serving and Retired Police Officers or Staff from any of the Home Office Forces, Special Constabularies,

British Transport Police, Police Scotland, Police Service Northern Ireland, Civil Nuclear Constabulary

and all branches of the Military Police and Ministry of Defense Police.


Police staff is defined as a person working within a police force, who is employed directly or indirectly by a chief constable.


Individuals who have been wounded or injured, having had or currently living with short term/long term illness, a physical impairment or disability, partial or full hearing or sight loss.


Someone experiencing mental health related issues, including stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD.


Someone who identifies has being neurodivergent.


Any person having previously attended or booked to attend any of the police treatment centres.

PUKDS Regions are based on Home Office Police Regions for ease of funding club organisation.


You can choose to represent any region based on the following criteria:


The region you currently work in

Any region you have previously worked in

The region where you live


It does not matter which area of the UK policing community you come from, whether it's a Home Office Force, National Force of Armed Forces Police, at any police or military rank or staff grade.


You will also be asked which of the Home Nations teams you would like to represent.

This could be the country you were born, where you now live or once lived, or where your family heritage is associated.

To start your sports recovery with a PUKDS Membership, just click on the link below to complete the membership form.

Before completing the form, please read the PUKDS Policy documents on our Policy Framework page. You will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood each policy for your membership to be accepted.


Once we have reviewed your application, you will be contacted with your membership number and given access to the PUKDS HUB page where you will be asked to sign the Members Codes of Conduct and complete the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion form.
